The Claddagh Ring

The Claddagh ring, a symbol of love, loyalty, and friendship, is worn in a way that signifies romantic status.

When worn on the right hand with the heart pointing towards the wearer, it indicates the wearer is in a relationship. Conversely, if the heart points away, it suggests the wearer is single and looking for love. When worn on the left ring finger with the heart pointing inwards, it signifies marriage. If the heart points outward, it indicates the wearer is engaged.
